I haven’t seen any artist as often as I did Steve Harley. From the mid 70’s on I have seen him (with or without Cockney Rebel) on every tour. He was also the first of “my” artists I took my daughter Holly to see. Last summer, when I was recording my track ‘Swift’ I told Holly it was inspired by a line from one of Steve’s songs. Straight off the bat, she set up a audio track and recorded the Harley-esque ‘oh las la’s’ that you can hear on the track. She was the best in every way.
